One of my favorite trends right now is LEOPARD! Did you see how it just popped back up overnight? It’s like we woke up one day and all of a sudden, everything was leopard again. I for one am obsessed. Leopard or cheetah print to me is one of those tried and true fashion trends that never really left us, but it’s definitely back full force right now.
When I was younger, I think like 15 or 16, my absolutely favorite pair of shoes were these satin leopard wedges from Guess. They were peep toe, had a bow on top, and were the fucking CUTEST. I was literally obsessed with them for YEARS (still am…) but had to stop wearing them once the fabric started rubbing off on the back. Don’t you hate when that happens? I tried for years to find a replacement and had no luck. Nothing was as cute or as comfortable as those shoes. Ugh.
I loved them so much that I actually never got rid of them. I couldn’t wear them anymore but couldn’t bring myself to toss them. They are still at my parents house to this day, and my nieces wear them when they’re playing dress up. It’s pretty special to see them have gone full circle. Maybe one day I’ll have a daughter to wear them…
POINT IS, leopard is everywhere and it’s the shit. If you don’t have some leopard print in your closet, you better get to shoppin!
