I have SO many skirts in my closet, and almost 99% of them are dressy, tight and not work appropriate. When I found this black mini skirt at our Bebe sample sale, I was like “Uh oh, another skirt I will never wear”.
BUT, I was determined to find a way to dress it down so it could become a part of my casual/work wear attire.
I paired the skirt with a plain t-shirt (since the skirt already has so much detail, but you could easily wear a cool printed or graphic T as well), added my denim jacket on top, and finished the look with my Converse. Easy peasy!
Best part about this look has to be the shoes. I’m not a sneaker girl usually, because I don’t feel as girly or feminine in them, but it was nice to be at the office in comfortable shoes for once!
Not even sure what you’d call this treatment on this skirt… is it technically fringe? Either way, I love it! I couldn’t find anything similar online, unfortunately, but you can’t go wrong with a fringe skirt like this one from Forever 21 (and it’s $30!!).
A hodgepodge of rings, but the Metal Claw bracelet I am wearing just landed in bebe stores and it’s SO cute! (It’s available in both Gold and Silver).
